Module Configuration

Understand channel selectors, role exclusions and feature-specific configuration.

Channel selectors

Choose a channel from the selected server. Verify Channel determines where members start verification; Log Channel receives a module’s event messages. Honeypot creates its own detection channel and offers a separate optional log channel.

A missing saved channel is not silently replaced with another one. Choose an available channel and confirm SHADO5 can view it, send messages and embed links before saving.

Roles mean different things

Verified Role is assigned after successful verification. Permitted role excludes members from the corresponding Anti-Words or Anti-Invite filter. Anti-Nuke’s Ignored role excludes members from its checks. These roles are not interchangeable.

Welcome Auto Role grants a safe role on joining. Dashboard Access authorizes selected roles to manage settings; it is configured separately by a server owner or Discord administrator.

Values and defaults

Anti-Alt starts from a seven-day account-age threshold when no value has been configured. Anti-Words accepts comma-separated words and requires an actual blacklist to be useful. Honeypot lets you choose kick or ban. Use the Configuration Reference and the individual module guides for exact details.

Configuration is not always immediately synchronized

Saving a configuration and completing a Discord channel or message operation are separate visible stages for some modules. Keep an eye on pending status and do not interpret a still-running cleanup as a finished disable.

Changes made by another authorized user or a slash command may require you to reload the current configuration before editing again.
