Invite SHADO5
Add SHADO5 to the right Discord server and check its role before configuration.
Before you invite
Sign in to the Discord account that can add apps to the target server. If Discord does not list the server during authorization, check that you selected the correct account and have the required server permissions.
Use the Add to Discord button on the SHADO5 homepage. The existing invitation requests Administrator permission. Read Discord’s authorization screen before confirming; granting permissions does not by itself activate every SHADO5 feature.
Add the bot
- Open the SHADO5 homepage and choose Add to Discord.
- Choose the server in Discord’s authorization window.
- Review the requested permissions and complete Discord’s confirmation.
- Return to Discord and verify that SHADO5 appears in the server member list.
- Open Dashboard, sign in and choose that server.
Position the SHADO5 role
Open Discord’s Server Settings and review the role list. SHADO5’s highest role must be above roles it assigns or restores and above members it needs to moderate. Administrator permission does not remove Discord’s role-hierarchy restrictions.
Do not place a sensitive staff role in an auto-role or verified-role selector merely to make it assignable. Use a dedicated ordinary member role instead. Continue with Quick Setup.
If the server does not appear
Check whether the bot has finished joining and whether your signed-in account owns the server, has Discord Administrator permission, or holds an authorized dashboard role. A server you can see in Discord is not automatically a server you can configure in SHADO5. See Server Selection for the full checklist.
