Require a minimum Discord account age for newly joining members.
Understand the account-age check
Anti-Alt compares a joining account’s creation date with your minimum age. Accounts younger than the requirement are kicked where Discord permissions allow. Age is measured in completed days.
This is an age filter, not proof that an account is an alternative account. Genuine newcomers may fail, while older alternative accounts can pass. It runs on joins and does not scan every existing member when enabled.
Choose a minimum age
- Open Dashboard, select your server and choose Anti-Alt under Protection.
- Set Minimum account age (days), optionally choose a Log Channel, and complete the vote check.
- Use Enable & Save for a disabled module, or save changes for an enabled module.
- Wait for confirmation and check the module status before testing.
The default is 7 days; the supported range is 0–36,500 days. Zero effectively removes the age threshold while leaving the module enabled. Choose a requirement suitable for your community.

The bot attempts to notify rejected members by DM. Closed DMs do not stop the kick attempt. It needs Kick Members and sufficient role hierarchy; slash-command setup additionally checks the bot’s Administrator permission.

/anti-alt status:offThe caller needs Administrator. status is required; log_channel and min_account_age are optional. Omitting the age uses 7 days. Enabling requires a vote, disabling does not.
Understand a rejected join
Check account creation time rather than time spent in your server. An account aged 6 days and 23 hours has only 6 completed days. If legitimate users are rejected, lower the requirement, save it and ask them to rejoin. A failed notification DM does not mean the age check was skipped.
