Anti-Invite
Remove supported Discord invite and server-directory links, with optional role exemptions and logging.
Control invite advertising
Anti-Invite detects supported invite and server-directory patterns in new messages, including common links such as discord.gg/, discord.com/invite/ and dsc.gg/. It deletes a detected message and attempts a one-hour timeout.
It is not a general website blocker or a guarantee that every disguised invite will be recognized. The current feature checks new messages, not edits or historical messages. Bots and members with the permitted role are skipped.
Configure Anti-Invite
- Open Dashboard, select your server and choose Anti-Invite under Protection.
- Choose an optional Log Channel and, if appropriate, a Permitted role (excluded).
- Use Enable & Save for a disabled module, or save changes for an enabled module.
- Wait for confirmation and check the module status before testing.
SHADO5 needs Manage Messages and Moderate Members in the relevant channels. The command requires the caller and bot to have Administrator. Role hierarchy still applies.
Available settings
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Log Channel | Optional channel receiving invite-violation logs. SHADO5 needs to view it and send embeds. |
| Permitted role (excluded) | Members holding this role bypass Anti-Invite. Leave it unset if no exemption is needed. |
Discord command
/anti-invite status:on log_channel:#security-logs
/anti-invite status:offstatus is required (on/off). log_channel and allowed_role are optional. When enabling, omitted fields are cleared. This module does not require a vote.
Check a missed detection
Test using a new message with a supported invite format. Verify the sender is not a bot or exempt role holder. If deletion fails, check Manage Messages and channel overrides. If deletion succeeds without a timeout, check Moderate Members, the target’s permissions and role hierarchy.
